God Will Keep His Promises! Part 1
God
will keep His promises He made to us - no matter how long it takes; His Word
does NOT go out void!!! I came across a promise God gave me on June 28, 2006
and He did as He promised; this is what He told me He would do:
He would
strengthen me and settle me; trust in Him, He is going to bring me through
this!
What
God was referring to at that time was the abusive marriage I was in and He
truly kept His Word and brought me out 4 months later with my mind in tack;
that last abusive marriage almost cost me my sanity and my life but God did not
let me die in my situation. Although the enemy used the guy many, many, many
times to try and kill me; he did not succeed – God said “NOT SO!!” I know God
has a plan for my life!! God has since delivered, healed, and restored me from
that and all other abusive marriages and relationships I have suffered
throughout my life and I will NEVER
get into another abusive marriage or relationship of ANY kind!! I am free
because Jesus has set me free and I will NEVER
be entangled with the yoke of bondage again!!
I
take that promise God gave me years ago and apply it now to EVERY situation and circumstance that
is trying to come against me – God’s Word stands forever – it NEVER loses its power to deliver so the
Word still has power to deliver me today!!
What
has God promised you? Go back and get the promises God promised you and begin
to declare and decree them over your life and watch God move!!!
Remember,
sometimes God takes you through “it” and sometimes He takes you out of “it,”
either way, God is with you!! As David said in Psalm 23:
1The
Lord is my shepherd; I have all
that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me
beside peaceful streams.3 He renews my strength. He guides me
along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be
afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and
comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my
enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with
blessings. 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will
pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
God
is ALWAYS with you! Cling to God and
He will give you strength and courage until He brings you through or out of
whatever you are going through!!! Wait on the Lord; don’t get ahead of Him or
lag behind – when God says “Move” go ahead and MOVE THEN!!

Pursue After God With ALL Your Heart And All Your Soul!!
We should take our pursuit and tenacity we are using to seek
after other things and seek after God!!! The
Word lets us know that if we seek after God we will find Him IF we search for
Him with ALL our hearts and ALL our soul (Deuteronomy 4:29; Jeremiah 29:13)!!
This is when we will find God and God will intervene in our lives and turn EVERYTHING around we need to have
turned around!! God will hear our distress call and come help us!! We CANNOT be double minded when we seek
after God; as James said a double minded man is unstable in ALL his ways - one
minute we are crying out to God and the next we all entertaining the devil and
his thoughts!! We CANNOT have it
both ways; we CANNOT serve God and
the devil too!! You must choose this day whom you will serve; your life depends
on it!!! Blessings or cursing, life or death, you choose!!!!
Seek God while He still can be found; choose Jesus as YOUR Lord and Savior - accept Him today
- give your life completely over to Jesus and stop yielding to the desires of
the flesh!!! Yes, thoughts are going to come even if you are a born again
believer, that is the devil's job to try to bring negative, nasty, thoughts to
your mind but it is your job to rebuke them in the Name of Jesus and bring EVERY thought that is contrary to the
Word of God, EVERY thought that
tries to exalt itself against the Word of God, into captivity to the obedience
of Christ – YOU must open YOUR mouth and pull down those
strongholds in your mind using the God’s weapons – it CANNOT be done through the flesh, ONLY through the Spirit (2
Corinthians 10:4-5)!! We are in a spiritual battle and fleshly weapons are
not going to cut it!! Allow the Lion of Judah to rise up in you and roar!! You
can do all things with Christ IF you
believe but you can do NOTHING
without Him!!
Christ has redeemed us ALREADY
from the curse of the Law with His precious blood; He won the battle for us and
we are victorious but we must remind the devil of this (apparently he has
amnesia or claim to – he keeps trying to bring things to us that God has
delivered us from) and not allow him to come in our lives when he gets ready!!
The Word tells us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he MUST flee!! We must open our mouths and
declare and the decree the Word of God over and against whatever that is trying
to destroy us (our homes, our bodies, our minds, our children, our families –
nature and spiritual, etc.); anything that is contrary to or tries to come
against or undermine the knowledge of Christ or the Word of God is an enemy to
us and we must pull them down – we must speak what the Word says to counteract them!!
