Description:
The “Importance
of Forgiveness” Course is the pre-introductory course to the “Biblical
Foundations of Freedom” (BFOF) Program which is normally
the next course after this one; the BFOF is a 14 week (typically but it can be
longer) online course of the Abused Woman Ministries’ Inc. School of Healing.
This Course is a 20 week course and there will be breaks in between for
Holidays. It is designed to help the person get rid of toxic emotions (anger, bitterness,
resentment, fear, rejection, etc.) first, with the truth of God’s Word, so they
can recover from the effects of domestic violence or any other traumatic event
that is stopping them from moving forward with their life.
The “Importance
of Forgiveness” Course is a self-paced free interactive program
so as you respond to me and I will respond to you. You will have the
opportunity to ask questions and discuss whatever part of the teaching you want
either via email to me directly (dehooks@abusedwoman.org).
However, you will
check in with me once a week on Thursdays so we can discuss the homework for
that week (if any) or so I can be updated of your progress. If there is any
homework for that week, the homework will be due by Thursday of that week; the
discussions can be via email.
During this
semester, we will have two breaks, one for Thanksgiving which will be between
November 17, 2013 and December 1, 2013 and the other one will be for Christmas
and New Year which will be from December 15, 2013 to January 5, 2014; class
will resume after Thanksgiving break on December 2nd and after Christmas/New
Year break on January 6, 2014.
