Give God Your Pain!

(Photo reference: http://coffee4thesoul.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/freedom-for-free/)

When you follow Christ, you will have storms come up in your life because the enemy will try to stop you. The enemy will do anything and everything to try and stop you from serving God; he hates God and he hates you because you are naming the Name of God. Therefore, don’t think when you give your life to God, you will be exempt from trouble and problems; it’s the opposite - your troubles are just beginning. But, I got good news for you, Jesus has overcome the world; including EVERYTHING you are facing. In John 16:33, Jesus encourages us with these words: “These things I have spoken to you, that IN ME you may have peace (peace ONLY comes from knowing Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior). In the world YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATION; BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD” (www.biblegateway.com – NKJV – emphasis added by me).

As a result of the storms that comes in our lives and the lives of friends and family members, we can and most likely will develop mental, emotional, or physical pain; stress, anxiety, and fear causes these issues in our earthly vessels. However, we do not have to carry pain, whether physical, mentally, or emotionally; Jesus already carried pain in His body! Isaiah tells us this and more what Jesus done in Isaiah 53:4-5:

"Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. [Matt. 8:17.] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole” (http://bible.us/8/isa.53.4-5.amp).

Jesus knows more about pain than anyone else could imagine; He is our Burden Barrier and is waiting for us to release EVERYTHING in our heart to Him that is weighting us down! We do not have to accept the burdens of what we are going through, Jesus is here to help us! We are not alone in this world; Jesus is here with us and will NEVER leave us!!

Isaiah 53:3 says Jesus, was despised and rejected when He walked on this earth; what make us think we are so special we will not go through what Jesus did?

“He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him” (http://bible.us/8/isa.53.3.amp).

God loved Jesus just like He loves us but God allowed Jesus to die a horrible death so we, God's beloved, would live! We as Christians are NOT EXEMPT from suffering; not as the unrighteous suffer but suffer as a righteous person. Life happens! And as long as we got Jesus on our side, we have NOTHING TO FEAR! Jesus chose to die for us, He laid down His life for us, willingly because of His love for us! Jesus told us in this world we would have tribulations; He said perilous times would come!

No matter what happens in our life, God got us! We belong to Him! God chose us in our mother's wound! This is what Ephesians 1:3-7 says:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (http://bible.us/114/eph.1.3-7.nkjv).

There is no reason to carry anything around that belongs to the devil!! Mental, physical, emotional stress, anxiety, fear, etc. is NOT from God but from the devil!! Jesus has already set YOU free and waiting for YOU to accept Him as He has made us accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
Ephesians 1:11-12 says:

“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory” (http://bible.us/114/eph.1.11-12.nkjv).

How are we going to be the praise of God’s glory with our soul out of whack? We cannot be! Yes, as far as God is concerned we are, but emotional, physical, and mental pain will cloud our mind as to who God is. Give God ALL your pain today, release unto Him NOW, you do not have to carry it any longer; Jesus has carried it and suffered for it in His body-why do you feel you have to carry it? God is not going to take it, He wants you to RELEASE "IT" to Him. God will let you carry those burdens and pain as long as you want - He will not go against your free will to carry them! But why? Give that stuff to God, He is the ONLY One who can fix it for you!

In closing, I am praying the prayer for you from Ephesians 1:17-23; I pray:

"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (http://bible.us/114/eph.1.17-23.nkjv).

Remember, YOU have the fullness of Christ in YOU (Ephesians 1:23) and His fullness will drive out EVERYTHING that is not like God in YOU! Surrender ALL to God; surrender everything within you to God so He can go into the secret parts of your soul, your heart and cleanse everything not like Him out!

God bless you!

God Wants Us Healed!!

God wants us to be healed in EVERY area of our lives and He has proven that by sending His Son Jesus to die to so we can live!! Sickness, disease, infirmities, lack, poverty, etc. is NOT the will of God for our lives!! As God said in Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope" (biblegateway.com).
God has given us the victory through His Son Jesus and all we have to do is embrace what Jesus has ALREADY done; we must fight the good fight of faith with the Word of God and Blood of Jesus especially, to obtain our healing!!
I found this teaching by Gloria Copeland telling us what to do when our healing does not manifest ("What to Do When Healing Does Not Manifest" by Gloria Copeland). I wanted to share this article with you because I know there is an attack on the body of Christ with sickness; some even believe that God put sickness on them to teach them something or He caused the sickness!! That is absurd and a lie straight from the pit of hell; God sent Jesus to save us, heal us, make us whole, and righteous so we can be restored to fellowship with Him - so why would He put sickness on us?
I myself have been battling back pain which causes pain in other parts of my body for a long time; the pain has gotten worst in the last year - I don't take pain meds because I am allergic so if God does not give me relief, I don't get any!! Therefore, I know the agony of sickness in your body and it is no fun living day in and day out in severe pain; it changes your whole life!! I use to be very active, playing tennis every day, and other activities, now I can do nothing; even walking around my block causes me more pain - it can be frustrating and depressing!! However, I am much stronger now than I was years ago; God is teaching me how to stand firmly on His Word when it comes to sickness trying to attack my body - I am learning to trust God at a greater level.
However, there are days I am in soooo much pain that I cry and it can be very frustrating going to be bed in pain and waking up in pain; I live with pain every day of my life. But I thank God for the support and prayers of my Pastors, and the few other people God has in my life now to help me!!
During this time, it is important to have support from people who genuinely care about you because don't be fooled, sickness can be frustrating and depressing as I stated before and you need to understand you are not wrestling against flesh and blood so you need people who will agree with you for your healing and other things - I don't care how anointed you are or who you are, your position, you still can use someone to agree with you - you are not an island but we are in the Body of Christ and we are supposed to help each other!!
Jesus prayed in John 17:20-24for all believers to be one as He and the Father are one:
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world (biblegateway.com).
Two are better than one the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12:
9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Jesus also lets us know there is power in agreement in Matthew 18:19-20:
19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Ephesians 6:12 tell us what we are wrestling against:
"For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (biblegateway.com).
Therefore, we need each other so let's help each other instead of hurting each other; we are fighting the same enemy if we are born again believers - satan and his cohorts!!!
The enemy will try everything he can to negate the Word of God and make us think we are not heal or the promises of God is not for today; but he is a liar!! The Word of God says that by Jesus' stripes we are already healed!!
The promises of God for us in Him are yes and in Him amen (the key is "in Him" and the only way to be in God is to accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior) so we must believe God; not the enemy and not our circumstances or situations!! I believe the Word of God that I am already healed no matter what my body says; God's Word speaks louder than the pain in my body!! Also, because of the back pain in my body, I have a greater compassion for people with back problems. I was at physical therapy and saw this man who could hardly walk and a great compassion came over me for him and I begin to pray for his healing. As I looked around and saw others doing their therapy, I began to pray for their healing; I had been going to therapy for about two weeks and that had never happened before. So I know because of the pain in my body, I am more aware of other peoples’ pain (physical and emotional) and what they are going through; I now can identify when other people tell me they are hurting or I see they have any afflictions my compassion level for others is also increasing.
I have discovered it is not about what we go through all the time but about that “thing” in us that God is after. Whether it is taking us to the next dimension in faith (as mine was), getting something out of us that should not be there, or strengthening us in other areas of your life or possibly a combination of all the above; God is doing something in us as we go through whatever we go through (sickness or other trials and tribulations). God does not enjoy seeing us suffer; He loves us very much and wants the best for us. God has given us His grace so we can go through whatever; as He told Peter when Peter went to Him with his thorn in the flesh in 2 Corinthians 8-10, His grace is sufficient for him:
8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
As I said before, in my suffering with the pain in body, I came to a point I would just cry (literally) and as I was crying, I would cry out to God for deliverance; thank Him for hearing my cry and the ones who prayed for me thank you all. Just the other day I was crying because I was in so much pain but praise God, I woke up the next morning and I felt like a new person; I really can't explain how I felt but I know it was God. As I was going to sleep the night before (really around 2 or 3 am), I felt something happen to me after reading a teaching by Kenneth Copeland on how to receive your healing ("How to Receive Healing" by Kenneth Copeland). So through this, God was letting me know He heard our cries for my healing manifestation.
In Kenneth Copeland's message, he talked about speaking to the affliction in your body; that's the same thing my friend had told me when we were praying - God told me then to speak to the pain - I did but I was not speaking correctly. This is what Kenneth said that really stuck with me: "Have faith in the Name of Jesus. Acts 3:6, 16; John 14:12-14; 1 John 3:23. Jesus’ Name carries all the authority of Jesus Himself. When Peter spoke in Jesus’ Name, it was as if Jesus were speaking. He didn’t pray for the man at the gate called Beautiful.
He spoke words of faith—in Jesus’ Name. In the same way and with the same authority, you can speak to your affliction." “Father in Jesus’ Name, I ask You for a manifestation of my healing.  I believe I receive it now and I thank You for it.”
So now, as I said before, God has taken me to another dimension in my faith concerning healing; and I am still learning. I know Jesus is our Healer more than ever and that settles it! I know that God is not a liar and as I said before, I believe what His Word says in Isaiah 53:4-5:
"4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED" (CAPS placed by me - KJV–www.biblegateway.com).
Not going to be but we are healed NOW! No matter what your body says or what any reports says: we cannot go by our feelings; we must have faith in God’s Word. Feelings are our enemy because they go against what the Word of God says. Feelings will nullify our faith by bringing doubt, causing us not to believe God’s Word. We got to know that we know that we know that regardless of the circumstances, regardless of the situations, regardless of the feelings, God's Word said, "With His stripes we are healed."
Get the Word of God buried deep inside of you so when that "ailment" comes, you can quote the Word of God against it. We must fight sickness, diseases, infections, all infirmities and plagues with the Word of God; they have no legal right to touch our bodies. It might not happen the first time you speak to your body that you see a change but don't give up; the enemy wants to wear us out so he will fight against us to make us think we are not healed but he is a liar!!! Draw from God's strength, His grace, and keep believing and moving forward for the manifestation of your healing - it is yours, it is ours, and we must not give up in the fight! Remember, we are fighting spiritual forces so we must fight with spiritual weapons; God has given us spiritual weapons for this spiritual war we are in:
"4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and  being ready to punish  all  disobedience when your obedience  is fulfilled" (2  Corinthians 10:4-6 - biblegateway.com).
The Blood of Jesus and the Word of God are our greatest weapons against whatever we face!! Jesus is our Healer and we need to grab hold of Him and not let Him go until our healing is manifested in our body; until we have an experience with God as Jacob did in  Genesis 32:24-34!!
God is a great planner; He has already made a way of escape for us (Jesus is our way of escape) - no matter what tries to come against us. He is in total control of our lives and we must trust Him to bring us out of whatever; don’t let our circumstances or situations rule.
