The Word for Today - "Wait On The Lord!" July 7th, 2009

Here is your word for today:

Wait on the Lord! Let's not get in a hurry to do anything because the Bible lets us know in Philippians 4:6:

"In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God".

We cannot do anything on our own - without God we can do nothing but with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

Remember, it is God who gives us the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18) and it is because of Him that we move, live, and have our being (Acts 17:28).

Psalm 27:14: "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
