This week the “Wednesday’s
Words to Live By” Scripture is from Psalm 42:11: “..Hope in God; For I
shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God” (www.biblegateway.com – NKJV).
This week’s “Words to Live By” is partly from my
devotional, “Healing Thoughts”
booklet published by Silent Unity,
topic “Healing.” The Author of the
article states:
“Healing is about so much more than the physical
condition. It is also an ongoing renewal of my (our) thoughts...”
Most of the time when we
think of healing, we only think of healing of our physical bodies but healing
is more than that. There are many different types of healings: physical,
emotional and spiritual; each one correlate with the other.
Proverbs 17:22 says: “A merry heart does good,
like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones” (www.biblegateway.com – NKJV).
We are complete in God;
whole, nothing missing, nothing lacking, and nothing broken! Colossians 2:9-10 tells us:
9“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10
and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (www.biblegateway.com – NKJV).
Therefore, whether we need a healing physically,
spiritually, or emotionally, Jesus has already healed us! We must understand
that Jesus “is the head of ALL principality and power” (Colossians 2:10;
Ephesians 1:21).
No principality or power can stand against us because
Jesus lives in us and He said that no plague shall come near our dwelling; that
dwelling can be our nature house or spiritual house. To receive this, we
must not be conformed to this world’s way of thinking but we must be completely
transformed by the renewing of our minds with the Word of God (Romans 12:2).
Our mind is transformed as we constantly study the Scriptures
until they get from our head into our hearts. Then we will be able to prove the
Word by standing firmly on it when the testing of our healing comes! We will be
able to take our shield of faith and quench every fiery dart of the enemy when
they come to say we are not healed! That is putting our faith in action! Until
we put it in action, it is dead and we cannot please God with dead faith! Allow
your faith to come alive this day by standing on the Word no matter what it
looks like! You are not alone!
This week’s
declaration:
“Jesus, I
accept what You have already done for me in Isaiah 53:3-5; You did not only die
for my sins and physical healing but You died to make me complete in You; to
give me abundant life. I thank You for that and I will walk in my full
manifestation of healing, nothing missing, nothing broken, and nothing lacking
in my life. Amen!
God
bless you all always!
